From May 15 to 17, Pan Feng, Vice Chairman of CEATEC, led a China-European GI delegation to Brussels, capital of Belgium, for a friendly visit.
On the morning of The 16th, Pan Feng led a team to the DG Trade in which Ms Chavarri, deputy head of the Agri Food Department, and Damien Plan, policy officer, to exchange views on China-EU geographical indications cooperation and promotion of China-EU economic and trade cooperation.
On The morning of July 17, the China-Europe Geographical Indications Roundtable Forum, jointly organized by the Chinese Mission to the EU, the European Commission and the Organizing Committee of the GIPE, was successfully held in Brussels.
On the afternoon of the same day, the delegation exchanged views with John Clarke, former Director General of the Department of International Relations of DG Agri, Massimo Vittori, Managing Director of oriGIn, and other experts on the establishment of the China-Europe Geographical Indications Alliance and the GIPE 2024.
