
On the afternoon of January 22, Pan Feng, Vice Chairman of CEATEC and President of ECECDC, held working talks with Wen Quan, President of the China Aviation Engine Research Institute. Focusing on leveraging the complementary industrial strengths of China and Europe and addressing development needs in the aero-engine sector, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on key issues including the integrated application of artificial intelligence technologies, international scientific research collaboration and innovation, and the joint cultivation of interdisciplinary talent, reaching a series of cooperation consensuses.
During the meeting, Pan Feng highlighted platforms such as the China–Germany (China-Europe) Hidden Champions Forum and cross-border technology cooperation mechanisms. He proposed leveraging European networks to assist the China Aviation Engine Research Institute in connecting with leading European universities, research institutions, and innovative forces within the aviation industry, with a view to advancing joint cross-border research in frontier areas such as "artificial intelligence plus aero engines."
