4月13日，全球消费创新系列活动启动仪式在海口举行，以“共享开放机遇，共创美好生活”为主题的第四届中国国际消费品博览会正式启动。全国人大常委会副委员长彭清华宣布活动启动并致辞。爱尔兰驻华大使安黛文致辞并宣读爱尔兰副总理、外交部长米哈尔·马丁贺信。海南省委书记冯飞、商务部副部长盛秋平出席活动并致辞。

    彭清华指出，习近平总书记向首届消博会致贺信，明确消博会“全球消费精品展示交易平台”定位和“三个有利于”功能，为办好消博会提供了根本遵循。三年来，消博会的规模、质量和影响力不断提升，已成为亚太地区规模最大的消费精品展、全球消费精品集聚地和消费市场风向标，成为海南自由贸易港建设一张靓丽名片。海南是我国最大的经济特区，具有实施全面深化改革和试验最高水平开放政策的独特优势。要坚持消费创新，共同打造“消费促进年”，激发消费新活力；坚持科技创新，共同推动新质生产力发展，促进世界经济复苏；坚持绿色发展，共同打造绿色消费生态，共创自然向好的未来；坚持开放共享，共同扩大全球贸易，让合作共赢惠及世界。

On April 13, the launching ceremony of the Global Consumption Event Series was held in Haikou, as well as the openign ceremony of the 4th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) with the theme of "Sharing Open Opportunities, Co-create a Better Life" was officially launched. Peng Qinghua, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, announced the launch of the event and delivered a speech. Ireland's Ambassador to China read a congratulatory letter from Michal Martin, Ireland's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs. Feng Fei, Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, and Sheng Qiuping, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, attended the event and delivered speeches.

Peng Qinghua pointed out that General Secretary Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the 1st CICPE, making clear the positioning of the Expo as a "platform for displaying and trading global consumer goods" and the function of three advantages, which provides a fundamental guideline for running a good Consumer Fair. Over the past three years, the scale, quality and influence of the Fair has continued to improve, and has become the Asia-Pacific region's largest consumer goods exhibition. CICPE has become a beautiful business card for the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port. Hainan is China's largest special economic zone, with the implementation of a comprehensive deepening of reform and testing the highest level of open policy unique advantages. We should adhere to consumption innovation, jointly create a "year of consumption promotion", stimulate new vitality of consumption; adhere to scientific and technological innovation, jointly promote the development of new quality of productive forces, and promote the recovery of the world economy; adhere to green development, jointly create a green consumption ecology, and jointly create a naturally better future; adhere to openness and sharing, and jointly expand global trade, so that win-win cooperation will benefit the world. The world will benefit from the win-win cooperation.

Mr. Pan Feng, vice president of CEATEC, attended the opening ceremony and had exchanges and communications with Ann Derwin, Irish Ambassador to China, Mr. Zuo Yongxiang, the Vice Governor of Sichuan Province, and other relevant provincial and municipal leaders before the opening ceremony.
