On March 29, the 2026 Houshayu Half-marathon was successfully held in Houshayu Town, Shunyi District, Beijing. Pan Feng, Vice Chairman of CEATEC and President of ECECDC, together with the Ambassador of Cyprus to China, Koula Sophianou, attended the event upon invitation. They joined athletes and spectators on site to witness the successful staging of the race, using sports exchange as a bridge to promote people-to-people exchanges and economic and trade cooperation between China and foreign countries.

The success of the event not only promoted the integrated development of sports and cultural tourism in Houshayu Town, Shunyi District, but also, through the participation of international guests, demonstrated the region’s openness and international outlook, laying a solid foundation for further multi-level and multi-sector international cooperation.
